The Question:
I moved into our new home a year ago. We remodeled the home on the inside. I was wondering if it would be okay to have a housewarming at Christmas once the home and guest home are completely finished? Really unsure of the etiquette. Also a family member is moving into her home now and we thought about doing one on the same day different times due to lots of family coming in from out of town. Please help. Thanks
The Answer:
Yes, when all of your home renovations are completed, it would be ok to have your housewarming at Christmas. And it is a phenomenal idea to share the date with a family member because it is more convenient for the entire family. (Not to mention on yourself!) Just make sure you work with the family member and make sure everyone is on the same page.
