Every mad scientist’s lab needs a spooky monster! For the Laboratory Theme Halloween Party I recently threw for family and friends, I made sure to pay homage to everyone’s favorite lab creation – Frankenstein. How'd I pull it off? With delicious pudding desserts of course!
I decided to include a little Frankenstein as part of my table because he makes a surprise appearance on the Halloween Lab Invitation I sent out to guests. Not to mention he showed up on many of my other personalized favors, like these awesome Halloween Lab Lollipops.
The cups were very easy to make. I made two 3-oz packages of Jello Instant Vanilla pudding and added between 25-30 drops of green food coloring before the pudding set. While the pudding was in the fridge, I ground Oreo cookies (make sure to remove the white filling) in a food processor.
Once the pudding was set, I spooned it into clear cups (the two packages made about a dozen cups) and layered the ground Oreos on top. A simple, fun and delicious recipe!
Want to go the extra mile? Draw a Frankenstein face on each of the cups with a black permanent marker.
