I loved the drink station my sister-in-law had for guests at her recent rustic barn wedding! Since the venue didn’t provide catering or bar services, she wanted a simple way for guests to grab their own drinks. Between barrels of beer, big containers of lemonade, and rows of water bottles, friends and family had many options from which to choose.
She served lemonade, a variety of craft beers (a favorite among guests!), and water with Bridal Shower Water Bottle Labels made by Party411.com. Check out how she organized her summer drink stations, and Shop Our Personalized Water Bottle Labels to get her custom look.
The water bottles were designed from the couple's wedding invitation and matched their programs, too. A simple "Congratulations CJ & Michele" adorned the labels along with the wedding date.
Guests loved grabbing a variety of local craft beers from barrels outside on the patio. The couple even left bottle openers and monogrammed napkins to wipe off the glass.
Larger bins filled with backup beer and ice were kept behind the venue. Uncle Bill refilled the barrels of beer with ice and bottles as the evening wore on. Thanks Bill!
The bride and groom (big fans of craft beers) even had their own beer cozies, which they carried around during the reception while they mingled with family and friends.
The lemonade station had several sweet touches, too. The couple's aunts volunteered to refill this station as the night went on.
I loved the striped aqua straws that were provided for the lemonade. The whole station matched the couple's wedding colors - aqua, yellow, and white.
The bride even remembered to post a classy PSA, urging family and friends to stay safe. Numbers for taxi companies were a thoughtful (and preventative!) measure for the boisterous evening!
