For our St Patrick's Day Party I set up a small drink table in front of our picture window. I wanted to do a rainbow backdrop with crepe paper since I was using a black "pot" (actually a Halloween cauldron re-purposed) filled with ice as a cooler for the beer. The pictures didn't turn out great due to the back lighting, but in person it was really cute and fluttery (we had the windows open a little). I just hung the crepe paper streamers right from the curtain rod!
You can see my "pot of gold" and a few green soft drinks (Mt. Dew, 7Up, Ginger Ale) cups and ice. It was an easy self serve drink station. One of my easier St. Patrick's Day party ideas :)
If you like the idea of a rainbow made of streamers, here are a couple more I found online -
This cute rainbow from Creative Juice is easy too. It is perfect for a blank wall!
Check this impressive installation that O Chickadee did for an engagement party! FOUR hours for two people to put it up, and many extra hours to make the paper dot streamers. But it is awesome!
I can't wait for St. Pat's this year. (It's on a Sunday... Par-tay!)
