These are a cute, fast and easy way to add some fun to the kid's table at your Thankgiving dinner.
I made these pilgram hat straw toppers from cardstock. It took me a few tries to get the right pligram hat shape, but then once I had one I liked I used that one as a template. You could also use resized clip art to make a template. My hat is about 3.5" wide by 3" tall. An X-acto knife is best for cutting the hole in the buckle, and to make the slits for the straw. I used a gluestick to secure the band and buckle.
Place these little hats on straws, and into a cup of cider and everyone will want to sit at the kids table!

I love the hat but how can I make it longer. I am after for the durability of this artwork.
