I want to do something a little different this year for my Thanksgiving dinner centerpiece. I enjoy having a cornucopia of food out on display, but I also want everyone to remember why they are thankful on this holiday. This Cornucopia of Thanks is a great way to mix the two.
What you need:
- Cornucopia picked up from a local craft store
- Construction paper
- Sharpie pen
What to do:
- Cut out shapes of fruits from the construction paper. You need to fill up the cornucopia. I chose to cut out the vegetables that interested me, peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, corn and eggplant.
- Write what you’re thankful for on the vegetable and fruit cutouts.
- Display in the center of your feast.
I like this craft because it let’s everyone get involved in the process, while letting everyone look back on why they are thankful. It is also going to allow me to do something a little different this year for Thanksgiving.
