Yet another afternoon at home with my kids led to the now daily question, "Mom, what can we do for Halloween now?" This time I had a great answer! My older son and I worked on this project while the little one napped. Although I'm sure he would disagree, I didn't think he was quite ready to help with a power drill. Our project for the day was a lollipop pumpkin, perfect for trick or treating or a Halloween party.
We started with a foam pumpkin that I got at a local craft store and a bag full of lollipops. I got just over 50 lollipops and a medium size pumpkin, but I think we could have used more lollipops. The project is as simple as drilling holes in the pumpkin and putting in the lollipops. It turned out very cute, cost less than $8 and will be great on Halloween for trick or treaters!
