I like making red white & blue pinwheel centerpieces, and red white and blue jello cakes! Yum!

The classic 4th of July party is always a BBQ. It's fun to decorate with red, white and blue and use sparklers and streamers to set the mood. A star cookie cutter can make almost anything (fruit, sandwiches, etc) patriotic so that always adds some fun. Thanks!

following you on twitter, fan on facebook.....tip for 4th of July...I make blue lemonade and put mini flag- like the umbrella- in them.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I make a strawberry shortcake and when I serve it I place unlit sparklers on the top and light them just before everyone comes to the table. The kids love it!!

try to do the red white and blue food- usually make a shortcake and whipped topping and strawberry and blueberry dessert

I do the red white and blue food too. Strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream in parfait glasses.

Serve lots of food with red white and blue such as strawberries, blueberries with yogurt to dip in!

For a yummy, fresh, 4th of July treat one year I made red white and blue stars and stripes jello bowl. I made blueberry jelly and used a star mold and made a tray of red jello that I cut up into squares (or rectangles). I put the blue stars along the sides of a clear glass bowl and filled with cool whip and the red 'stripes'. It festive looking, absolutely delicious and a big hit at the BBQ!!
