Aloha! A Luau from Party411.com!

A luau is one of our favorite themes at Party411!  There are a ton of great luau decorations and party supplies, so we think anyone can (and should!) throw a luau!

We planned this luau for a local Bat Mitzvah. It was great fun.

As the guests arrived we had models dressed in hula gear passing out leis to all the guests.  Everyone then took a "license to hula" seating card.

We filled the lobby with balloons, balloon palm trees, grass skirting hanging down from the banisters, and a lifesize cutout of the Bat Mitzvah girl.

Bright tropical flowers looked beautiful on the adult tables. We had bright colored balloons on the kids tables. Of course, we used raffia flower tableskirts on all the buffets! And, everyone got a personalized hurricane glass as a favor.

The Bat Mitzvah guests had a wonderful evening doing the hula, dancing and enjoying each other's company.  Aloha!

Harry Potter Party!

Have a Harry Potter fanatic?  Celebrate with them with a Harry Potter theme party.  This Harry Potter party was for a Bar Mitzah.

When guests arrived there were "Jason Potter" movie posters in the lobby. House flags hung in the entry.  For seating, the all the guests are sorted into houses and given matching house laminated passes they wore all night.

They then went under a sign directing them to head to Platform 9 3/4.  They passed a flying car and the Hogwarts Express and then passed under a sign welcoming them into the Great Hall.

We had fun Harry Potter decorations around the party.  From a directional sign points to different areas in the castle, a cutout of Moaning Myrtle in the bathroom to owls all around, it was Harry Potter everywhere!

Over the DJ hung a Harry Potter theme DJ sign, complete with lights!  Adult centerpieces were beautiful wrought iron candelabras.  The kids were greeted with a cutout of Dumbledore welcoming kids to the Great Hall!

Kids were seated at long tables for their houses.  The linens and napkins matched the house colors. Gold plates were set at each place with gold goblets to match. Centerpieces were overflowing with fake fruit set for the feast.  For an extra fun touch, we had a cutout of each Head of Houses sitting at the head of the table.  And, LED candles hung from the ceiling over the tables.

Finally an 8' Hogwarts photo op was available for everyone to take pictures with.  (They wore the Harry Potter glasses they found at their tables!)

It was great fun!  You can throw your own party with the help of our Harry Potter theme party!

Candyland! A candy theme party

We love Candyland as a twist to a candy theme party.  For this Bat Mitzvah we started with a custom caricature of the Bat Mitzvah girl as a Candyland character on the board game surrounded by other characters from the game.

We used the characters from the board game throughout the party. King Kandy welcomed guests at the ballroom entrance and Mr. Mint stood next to the sign in board that had her caricature attached.

A balloon gumdrop path led to the ballroom (but not for people to walk on!) and we used adorable candy balloon sculptures on the windows!  A directional sign pointed to different places on the board.

Seating cards were candy cane bubble blowers and directed people to different places on the board which their tables were named for.  Great fun!

At each table, candy necklaces, licorice and lollipops served as napkin rings.  Candyland board games were kids centerpieces and were then donated to charity after the event.  The adult centerpiece was a 3-sided centerpiece base with our custom "Callieland" caricature. The 3-sided base held balloons in the board game colors.  Gingerbread man confetti was scattered on the table.

We hung a Candyland theme sign over the DJ and stood giant balloon candy canes on either side of the DJ!

Everyone had a SWEET time!

A Red theme party with "Heart"

Welcome to the Heart Beat Club, a red dress party we put on with 8th Continent Soymilk to promote Women's Heart Health.

We had a great time with the red theme for this event.  All the linens were red, of course, but we also had red lights, red lamps and red roses.  Guests were able to try different drinks and foods make with soy and soymilk.  (We especially loved the soy-milkshakes!)

Signs were all designed to look like red dresses and the sign in for the party was a giant red dress cutout.  The centerpiece of the evening was a display of red dresses worn by First Ladies that was on tour throughout the United States. Everyone loved the dresses!

It was a great party!  See more of Our Parties here.

Legally Brunette!

This was a fun theme for a party we did for a Bat Mitzvah.

We bought Legally Blonde movie posters (available online) and added the Bat Mitzvah girl's photo for a great sign in board.  We, of course, had a lifesize photo cutout of the Bat Mitzvah girl welcoming guests.

Seating cards were fake subscriptions to fashion magazines attached to fuzzy shoe keychains.

Inside the ballroom, there was a sea of beautiful balloons in all shades of pink, with rose mylar balloons (of course - her name is Rose!) and pink linens.  Centerpiece bases were stuffed Chihuahua toys, which were donated to a children's hospital, sitting on a bed of red and pink roses.

It was a great party!  See more of Our Parties here.

Go Buckeyes!

We all know that Ohio State University is the best - Go Buckeyes!  So, we loved planning this Buckeye's theme Bar Mitzvah.

In the entry to the party, we hung Ohio State banners, had Ohio State balloons, and had a lifesize cutout of the Bar Mitzvah boy dressed as an OSU football player.

We filled the hallway to the ballroom with Ohio State balloons and a large balloon arch with OSU spelled out in 3' mylar letter balloons.

Centerpieces for the kids were balloons and the adults had flowers in OSU buckets, with pennants coming off the top.  We put out chocolate buckeyes (yum!) and  chocolate foil wrapped footballs on all the tables.  All of the kids got personalized t-shirts to celebrate the party and their favorite school!

From the Elf Olympics to a Christmas Farm...

We love putting together a holiday party at Party411.com! We designed this Christmas party for a group of about 300 parents and kids, with the focus on the kids! (We, of course, had plenty of food to keep the parents entertained)

Guests entered through a sea of flags from around the world with lifesize cutouts of Santas from around the world (that we made, of course). After passing all the Santas, they found a sea of Christmas trees covered in little toys and candy treats for the kids as well as a larger than life display of a toy bin with toys that were really jumbo Mylar balloons!

Santa greeted guests in two themed areas. They got to meet Santa, get a picture with the big guy and then he gave each child a personalized holiday candy bar.

The kids played games surrounded by the Elf Olympics and a Christmas Farm, complete with a barn display, animal cutouts and lots of fake snow. We set up a kids train on a track (you can rent these from a variety of companies!) that drove through the Olympics scene. The kids loved the ride and the fun scenery they saw on their “trip”.

It was a very Merry Christmas for these guests!
