Have you ever heard the saying that something happened, or was done in "the eleventh hour"? Meaning, at the very last minute, just in the nick of time?
Well, that is me every year planning my New Year's Eve celebration. I get so busy planning all of my other holiday parties (and attending others) that I leave my New Year's preparations to the last minute. And this year it actually seems fitting, since my "eleventh hour" attitude coincides nicely with ringing in 2011.
So this year I am going to embrace my slacker ways. I am going to order a couple of New Year's Eve Party Kits, and hope that copious amounts of food and drink will delight my guests enough that they do not notice the absence of the (time consuming) details I am usually known for.
For those of you who would like to take a less laissez-faire attitude towards your party, here are some New Year's Eve Party Ideas to get you started.
